Oh mah gyaw! What lovely weather!
I soo needed this – Like a squishy pair of house shoes after a day of high heels, like a cold set of sheets for a sunburn on my shoulders, like a box of chocolates after a break up…a cool snap after 3 months of dangerous heat…it’s the little things in life.
So, I’m having a chair recovered by Jessie…

For dinner, Veggie Crepes and a garlic-y herb top sauce.
Made with our 1980 mini Oster Crepe Maker,
just dip and flip
The filling: saute half an onion and a few garlic cloves in evoo, add a half cup white wine, then add diced zucchini and yellow squash, then diced mushrooms, then a stemless bunch of spinach. Cook most of the liquid off. Remove from heat and add about a cup of ricotta, parm/reg. mix, sea salt, and black pepper.
The top sauce: for each 3 crepe serving, heat about 2 Tablespoons of Alouette herb dip thinned with a little milk. Garnish with a bit of feta.
